BIO

Isabelle Pierre is a writer, producer, actress, and comedian and educator from NY. You can catch her on TV playing a number of sad, serious, and severe characters. On the third Saturday of every month, she co-produces a comedy show called Astigmatism Comedy in the lower east side.
In 2018, she self-produced an original pilot presentation called VOWS. Her current feature portfolio includes a co-written comedy horror called #vanlife and a quiet character drama called Last Land.
Her immigrant parents are very concerned this entertainment thing will work out.

VOWS

In 2016, I almost married a friend in danger of losing her artist visa to help keep her in the country. We would have checked off every suspicious box in what was becoming an increasingly anti-immigrant national environment: 1. same-sex couple; 2. different cultural backgrounds; 3. women of color. After reconsidering this terrible and dangerous idea, we decided to make a show about it instead. Half-Hour comedy.
